Meet Dr. Khan
Arif Khan, M.D., Medical Director and Principal Investigator at Northwest Clinical Research Center (NWCRC), is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine. His specialty is psychiatry and the treatment of mood disorders.
Doctor Khan and the team at NWCRC have been researching Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) for many years. They have completed nearly 20 clinical trials studying different medications for use in the treatment of TRD. Some of the medications he has studied include Olanzapine (Zyprexa®), Fluoxetine (Prozac®), Venlafaxine (Effexor®), Risperidone (Risperdal®) and Aripiprazole (Abilify®).
